Ingredients:
1 1/4 c. soft butter
2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar in large bowl. Add eggs and vanilla, blend well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; blend into creamed mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-9 minutes.
DO NOT OVERBAKE! Cookies will be soft. They will puff during baking and then flatten upon cooling. Cool cookies on baking sheet until set, about 1 minute. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy!
