Cream Cheese Crescents with Nut Filling

Yield: 3-5 Dozen Cookies

Ingredients:
1 lb. butter
1 lb. cream cheese
4 c. flour
4 egg yolks
Nut Filling (below)
Directions:
Mix all ingredients, except filling, thoroughly for dough. Put in refrigerator overnight. Roll out on powdered sugar board and fill with Nut Filling. Cut in 2 inch squares. Roll up. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.
Nut Filling...
4 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
1 lb. ground walnuts
Drop of vanilla
Beat whites, add sugar. Beat again. Fold in nuts and vanilla.
